Hello Folks

My laptop gave up the ghost about 9 days ago so missed everyone. I have had to buy a new
one and my sister in law has 'set it up' today for me and I am now up and running.

I will look up all your posts which I have missed.

Hoping all of you are bearing up.

Rose Smile

Hello Lynn and Lorna

Thanks for your good wishes.

I am pretty much the same, fatigue huge, pain not good and still not on TNF . I was told to expect
mid Jan so if I have not heard anything by next week I will give my RA nurse a call.

I am working , although not finding it all all easy . Last week worked 9 hours and this week
going to go for 12 hours so see how I go.

Regards to all

Rose

hi Rose,

good to have you back with your new laptop.

i was also wondering if you had started on the Humira yet ... i posted in your Drug Thread.

Anti-Tnf's are going to be the way for me i think, my appointment has been brougt forward from March to 26th January as i'm not doing well on the Methotrexate and Hydroxy.

i have read what i can about them and it seems Humira has been around the longest although i have no idea until my appointment.

hope you get on ok at work ... big step increasing the hours.

take care,

Suzanne x

Happy New Laptop Rose! Glad to hear you are back online though sorry you are not feeling good and still struggling to increase your hours. I would make that call to chase up your Humira. I rang last week after 5weeks of hearing nothing to be told the Rheumy had just signed it the day before ...it had sat on her desk all that time!

Today I got the call to say it would be delivered next week, so the process is actually very quick, once the wheels are in motion. I'm getting proper cold feet about it all though now. Let's just say don't go on Askapatient.com! I know ...I shouldn't.

Hope you hear something soon Rose - we have got to this point at the same time so it would be good to do this next step together too. XX Ailsa

Hi Rose,

Glad you've got the new laptop up and running.
Good luck with the work, and I hope you hear about the anti-tnfs soon.

Love, Doreen xx
